APN Settings – Explained

What are APN settings?

APN, short for Access Point Name, has the network settings your phone needs to connect to your provider. Your carrier reads these settings in order to generate an IP address, connect to the correct secure gateway, and see the carrier requirements to connect you to a private network like a VPN.

When you use Transatel DataSIM, you will need to configure your device’s APN settings:
APN name = mobiledata
Username: (empty)
Password: (empty)
Authentication: (empty)
